Happy Turkey Day 2006

Wow. The last picture on my blog was from a year ago. I know I suck at the whole blogging thing, but my wife Pam is doing awesome with it. She's joined the nablopomo blogging challenge where you have to make a post everyday during the month of Nov. At least that is what I think it is. hehe

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

My thanksgiving has been a pretty good one. Woke up very early before 7am to go help hook up my Grandma and Grandpa's new TV so they could watch cable and DVD's. Came home walked Max, and it was pretty cold out. Got a call from my sister around 8:15am asking me to go do the Turkey Trot 5K run at Crystal Lake Park in Urbana. We used to run this race every year together. I wasn't in shape to run it this year, and it was pretty cold out with the dog, so I ended up not going. She got to take her oldest daughter with her though.

After declining the race, Pam and I had cinnamon rolls and coffee. We caught up on a few TV programs we like(House and How I Met Your Mother) while we were eating and snuggling on the couch. Then it was naptime for us since Pam had to go into work at 3pm until 3am. :( We woke up and got ready to leave. She went to work, and me and Max went to my parents house for some Turkey. :)

After a good lunch/dinner, we were watching football and looking at the "Black Friday" flyers. This is when Pam called and when Turkey Day got even better for me. Pam said that she will get to come home at 11pm instead of 3am. Yeahhh!! I get to share some turkey with her for a late night snack, and maybe we will get enough sleep to go shopping early in the morning for all those sales.
